Blog

The pre-set HTML for blogs on this website are a bit tricky and I'm still trying ot figure them out. Unfortunately my original blogs are hosted on another site and moving all the content in to  similar format that I like would take A LOT of time.

For now I'll be putting up individual posts and a single featured blog from my Rhetoric and Civic Life course, until I begin another blog on this website to keep people updated on my travels, adventures, etc.

THE END OF AN ERA?

From "The Super Secret Spy Blog". Probably one of my favorite entries in this blog. This was the real result of learning how to blog over the Fall Semester of 2013. I learned how to get comfortable with my style, my vernacular, my humor, and the incorporation of pictures and .gifs with commentary wrapped it all up.

DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY

This rhetorical analysis always struck close to home for me. Although it is a short characterization of the famous Douglas McArthur speech, I always look back on it as an example of how you can evaluate both the oral and written context of a very passionionate and emotionaly-charged speech.

WHAT'S COOKING IN THE WHITE HOUSE KITCHEN?

Another one of my favorite blog entries. This time from my "White House Tour Guide" blog from Spring Smester 2014. Aestethicaly pleasing, easy read, informative, light-hearted lanuage. This post stuck out to me as well rounded and a good representation of what my more casual writing style looks like.

THE SUPER SECRET SPY BLOG

This was by far my favorite blog to work on. Not only did it take to a keen interest of mine, but it shows my blogging development and my ease into my natural writing style over the semester.
